Ainex Signs MOU with Colombia’s Selig to Expand ENAD Distribution

Sep.02.2026

Ainex Corporation, a medical AI company specializing in gastrointestinal endoscopy (CEO David Lee; hereinafter “Ainex”), announced on September 2 that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Colombian medical device distributor Selig to expand the distribution of ENAD, its AI-powered diagnostic support solution for gastroscopy and colonoscopy.

The agreement builds on Ainex’s medical device approval and successful deployments at major healthcare institutions in Colombia. The two companies plan to expand ENAD adoption across the country and establish a collaborative framework covering product distribution and technical support.

ENAD is an AI-powered software as a medical device that detects lesions in real time during gastroscopy and colonoscopy and provides diagnostic results by lesion type. Ainex obtained medical device approval from Colombia’s National Institute for Food and Drug Surveillance (INVIMA) in May 2025 and has supplied ENAD to local healthcare institutions, including Hospital Universitario San Ignacio (HUSI) and Clínica Reina Sofía.

Founded in Bogotá in 1998, Selig is a medical device distribution and healthcare services company that has supported Colombia’s healthcare sector for nearly three decades. Its portfolio includes oncology and nuclear medicine products and services, as well as endoscopy and laparoscopy equipment and endoscope reprocessing solutions.

“We plan to improve market access by leveraging Selig’s medical device distribution network, expertise in endoscopy, and local technical support capabilities,” Ainex said. “We will also establish a support system that enables healthcare institutions to adopt and use ENAD reliably.”

“Colombia is a strategic hub for expanding our presence in the Latin American medical AI market, and this agreement will serve as an important step in strengthening ENAD’s local distribution network,” said David Lee, CEO of Ainex. “By combining the strengths of both companies, we will bring ENAD to more healthcare institutions.”
